  • How long does the build process take?
    We currently have a build time of 365 days from receipt of county permits. It typically takes about 2-3 weeks for Onslow county permits and 30 days approximately in Pender county. Please keep in mind that if you are financing your build project to add 45 days for your construction loan closing.
  • Do you offer spec homes or will you buy a lot for me and build?
    We do offer spec homes where we own the land and build the home and you buy it directly from us once it has been completed. The second option is that you can buy the land or contract land for sale and obtain a construction loan to build on that lot. You do not need to own the land out right in order to build with a construction loan. It is very common to purchase a lot under contract while you are working with us to build.   • Can I customize or make changes to the floorplans
    Yes, we are a full-scale custom build which allows you to make modifications to the floorplans, or create an entirely new floorplan without our design team.
  • Can I bring my own custom floorplan to you and you build it?
    Yes, we love to see the designs our clients bring!
  • What is your price per square foot?
    We do not operate on a standard price per square foot because we are a custom builder. Our price per square foot depends on the size of the home and the custom features our clients request in addition to neighbor ARC requirements.
  • What is a custom home?

    We offer the best in-house 1 Year Builder Warranty with a 10 year structure warranty.
  • Do you have models to tour?
    We do not have a model house to tour. We have homes under construction and near completion that you can walk through! You can also browse our Completed Homes Page to view the photos from all of our completed projects.
  • Will you help me choose all the features like flooring, counters, and cabinets for my new home?"
    Absolutely! This is one of the most exciting times in the early planning stages of your home. Our local design studio is specifically designed to help you make all your choices in one place. If we do not have what you are looking for at our local design center location, we will send you to our Wilmington Design center to upgrade your items as needed. We have created a one-stop shopping experience that you will love and makes your life easy.
  • How do I begin the process when I still have a home to sell?
    We can put you in contact with our preferred lender, Jordan Warren with Intracoastal Mortgage, so you can ease into this transition. Building a new home is different than buying an existing one and our preferred lender is an expert at creating programs designed just for you and allow you to stay in your current home while we build your new home. Jordan will help you with bridge loans and construction loans that save you time and money and make the process as stress free as possible.
  • How does new construction financing work?
    There has never been a better time to build between the low interest rate environment and loan products now available for new construction. We work with any lender you choose.
